Cheshire Sciences (UK) Ltd was established in 2006 between Cheshire Sciences and Interchim to bring Interchim's proprietary products and services to the UK market. The Cheshire Sciences website aims to support your Interchim requirements for manufactured and proprietary products. Interchim is a family owned company based in the heartland of France. They were established almost 40 years ago and currently have over 100 staff supporting a vast range of reagents and associated consumables.

All Interchim proprietary products are designed to perform at least as well as the leading brand competitors. Interchim's unique history has established core competence in a number of sectors and sub-sectors and many items are proven to provide enhanced performance benefits. Technological Transfer
Interchim and Cheshire Sciences are family companies operating within a family ethos. This is our basis for maintaining quality staff and subsequently core technology & industry knowledge within key areas. Many companies supplying this industry are large PLC's, such companies frequently struggle to retain product understanding as they strive to satisfy shareholders and increase the internal burden of red tape and bureaucracy.

We attempt to be very price competitive where ever we can. We have a 'golden rule' of attempting to provide price driven consumables at 40 -to- 70% of the retail price of leading brands / suppliers.

Interchim proprietary products are represented in four primary fields of business:

Core efforts in this field are to provide an increasing portfolio of required intermediates from stock at Interchim's central warehouse and specialty services linked to screening compounds to reduce internal administration headaches.

Interchim have vast experience in understanding both the chemists drive for purifying compounds and also the analysts drive for chromatographic separations. This experience has been drawn upon to produce a truely innovative ground breaking automated device and associated accessories for flash purification.

As suppliers of the principal manufacturers of HPLC columns for over 30 years in France and a manufacturer of their own Uptisphere brand for 20 years. Interchim have created a range of columns that supports the varying application demands of the analyst whilst adhering to the fundamental characteristics of robustness and reproducibility.

Interchim have a vast protfolio of products to support biological activities and our Core BioScience section only represents a small aspect of this offering. Cheshire's principle focus is to utilise market understanding and introduce biological reagents that perform at least as well as leading brands at significant cost savings. Over 2008 and 2009 we hope to continue to expand this line into many sectors of primary biological acitivities.
